This book was the first one I read by this author, and I think it has much more potential. It starts with Shawn, he is five years old when he met Taralynn, who is the sister of his older brother´s best friend.
We think the story will show him falling in love with her, but it jumps 17 years ahead.
They´re now 22, she´s in college, he drop out after first semester to be a tatoo artist. They live with another 2 roommates, one is his bestfriend Mason (he shares girls with Shawn), and the other is Tralynn´s best friend Matt (not so much),his girlfriend is terribly mean with Taralynn.
Things starts to be confused, like the author initially thought to write something than changed her mind midway. and changed her mind again and again,
It has a lot of twists, but they´re not well told, and some just get lost in the plot, like Matt and his odd behavior, is not even mentioned nor explained.
Shawn is a pain in Taralynn´s ass. He´s overly rude and for no reason.
Esse livro foi o primeiro que li dessa autora, e tinha muito mais potencial do que o demosntrado.
A história começa com Shawn ainda pequeno e mostra como ele conheceu Taralynn. Depois dá um pulo de 17 anos. Eles, agora teem 22 anos, ela tá na faculdade, e ele abandonou depois do primeiro semestre, pra trabalhar como tatuador. Eles vivem com outros 2 colegas de quarto. Mason, que é o melhor amigo de Shawn, e com quem Shawn às vezes partilha garotas. E Matt, que é o melhor amigo da Taralynn (nem tanto). A namorada dele é super grosseira com a Taralynn.
A história começa a ficar confusa, como se a autora quisesse escrever algo e depois mudasse de ideia, várias vezes.
Tem várias reviravoltas, mas não são bem contadas e algumas acabam ficando perdidas no enredo, como o Matt com suas mudanças de humor, simplesmente deixa de ser mencionado
O Shawn é absurdamente grosseiro com a Taralynn.
