Elizabeth Bennett (yeah, really) and Declan Blay are juniors in college. She´s coming from a traumatic past, she was raped by her high school boyfriend, and she´s a shell of her former self. Until she met Declan, he´s coming from a tough past as well, his mother died from cancer and he and his twin had to go to USA with their father, away from everything they knew, to a house full of prim and proper.
He´s really sweet with her.

This book is like a modern version of Pride and Prejudice,
Elizabeth Bennett ( isso mesmo) e Declan Blay estão no penúltimo ano da faculdade. Ela tem um passado traumático. Ela foi estuprada pelo namorado, quando estava no ensino médio. E se tornou uma casca vazia do que seu antigo ser. Isso até que ela encontra Declan, ele também vem de um passado traumático, sua mãe morreu quando ele ainda era novo e ele e seu gêmeo foram obrigados a morar com o pai deles nos EUA, deixaram seu lar e tudo o que conheciam para morar numa casa cheia de pompa e cisrcunstância.
Declan é muito fofo com Elizabeth. Ele a trata como um bem precioso.
Esse livro é como uma versão moderna de Orgulho e Preconceito.
