Devyn and Riley meet at first day of college. He is instantaneously attracted to her, but she friendzone him. Not because she´s not attracted to him as well, but because she is coming from a hard time, and she wants to focus on her study.
They spend the four years of college as best friends, but even lusting after each other they never act on it.
In the end of their senior year, they hook up, because Devyn wants to lost her v-card. But, Riley is a asshole after the sex, and eventually they lost contact.
5 years later Riley moves to Devyn´s city. He wants to fight for her. But things may not be like him expect.
Even though the story is nice, and fast paced, it missed something deeper, a connection between the characters.
I loved Nathan, he´s a sweet and funny potty-mouthy kid.
Devyn e Riley se encontram no primeiro dia de faculdade. Ele se sente atraído por ela instataneamente, mas Devyn o coloca na friendzone. Não pq ela não se sente atraída por ele, mas pq ela está vindo de um tempo difícil e quer focar nos estudos.
Eles passam os 4 anos de faculdade como melhores amigos, mas mesmo atraídos um pelo outro, eles nunca tomam alguma atitude com relação a isso. No fim do último ano, eles ficam juntos, pq Devyn quer perder a virgindade. Mas, Riley age como um idiota depois e eventualmente eles perdem contato.
5 anos depois, Riley se muda para a cidade de Devyn. Ele quer reconquistá-la. Mas, as coisa podem não ser como ele espera.
Embora a história seja legal e se desenvolva rapidamente, falta algo mais profundo, uma conexão maior entre os personagens.
Eu amei o Nathan, ele é uma criança doce, engraçada e com a boca precisando ser lavada com sabão.
