This book was a big let down.
It starts really well and than all goes downhill and that's even worst than a book that´s bad from the beginning. Because it gives you hope and than BAM, the hope is shredded at your feet.
Drama queen much? Yeah, a little. But that´s how I felt. I have a ginormous list of books to read and a bigger than ginormous list of books a downloaded to my kindle just because. So, I was reading a lot of beginnings and when I started this one, I thought " Hey, this one, sound nice, I should read it" Oh god, how I regretted.
Sienna is a half-brazilian (just an excuse to say she knows how to samba, let me say I´m brazilian and I don´t know nor want to know how to samba) and half-american, she´s living in London. She´s coming from a bad break-up, her ex (Kyle)cheated on her and then she gets involved with Blake, her hot, rich, and handsome brit. But Kyle´s wants her back, and when she doesn't goes back to him, he starts to use drugs so he can be able to forget the pain( OMG, What a loser) but Blake, who seems to be so perfect is just as retarded as Kyle. And, then we have Troy who also has the hots for Sienna. OMG ² her pussy oozes pheromones.
And then we have her best gay friend, who is all sassy and witty and out of the blue, he tries to off himself. And the book ends in a cliff, maybe we should thrown all the characters down the cliff, so we are all spared to read the continuation to this terrible soap opera.
Esse livro foi uma grande decepção. Ele começa bem, mas tudo vai ladeira abaixo, e isso pra mim é pior do que um livro que já começa mal, pq nos dá esperança e aí Bam, sua esperança está em pedaços ao seus pés.
Muito dramática? Talvez um pouco. Mas foi como eu me senti. Eu tenho uma lista enorme de livros pra ler, mas às vezes eu gosto de ler algo que não está na lista, então eu comecei alguns livros até achar um que prendesse minha atenção e quando eu comecei esse eu pensei " Ei, esse parece legal, eu acho q vou ler" Ai meu Pai, como eu me arrependo.
Sienna é metade brasileira (o q é apenas uma desculpa pra ela saber sambar, eu tenho q dizer q eu sou brasileira e eu nem sei e nem quero saber como sambar) metade americana e mora em Londres.
Ela acabou de passar por uma dolorosa separação com o ex-namorado que a traiu e acaba se envolvendo com Blake, um britânico rico, bonito e gostoso. Mas, Kyle a quer de volta e quando ela o rejeita ele se volta pras drogas, pra ajudar a esquecer a dor de perdê-la( AMD, que perdedor), mas Blake, que no começo parece perfeito é tão abestado quanto o Kyle. E pra completar ainda tem o Troy que tb anda correndo atrás da perereca pegando fogo da Sienna, AMD² A perereca dela exala feromônios. E pra completar mais ainda ela tem o habitual amigo gay, lépido e faceiro e dançarino que do nada simplesmente tenta se matar. E o livro acaba, nesse horrível cliff. Deixa eu ir ali me jogar na BR por favor.
