Armentrout it´s another one of my favorite authors, ever since the Lux series (waiting for Luc´s story here) and even though I did not like all of her books, and this one plot its not a new one, reading about drunk driving  and its aftermath it is always necessary. Specially if you think how many people die every  year because of someoneelse´s stupidity. Think about it, when you drink and drive, you ar not only putting your life at risk, but the life of every single person who will cross your way towards home.

And survivor´s guilt its a strong feeling that most people can´t deal with it.

Now you take this problem to teenagers, whom wasn´t even supposed to be drinking at all, let alone drinking and driving. DUI its a plague that assoles all USA territory, and teenage drinking its such a common ocurrence that its a joke  how easy it is to get a fake id and buy alcohol.

Its the high worth all the pain?

This book wasn´t my favorite one but it certainly was a good read, and I strongly recommend you to buy this book to all teenagers in your life.

Armentrout é outra de minhas autoras favoritas, desde a série Lux (esperando a história de Luc) e, embora eu não tenha gostado de todos os livros dela, e este assunto não seja uma novidade, ler sobre a dirigir embriagado e suas conseqüências, é sempre necessário. 

Especialmente quando você vê quantas pessoas morrem todos os anos por causa da estupidez de alguém que faz isso. Pense nisso, quando você bebe e dirige, você não está apenas colocando sua vida em risco, mas a vida de cada pessoa que irá atravessar seu caminho para casa.



E a culpa do sobrevivente é um forte sentimento com o qual a maioria das pessoas não consegue lidar.



Então, você pega esse problema e leva para o conetxto dos adolescentes, que nem sequer deveriam estar bebendo, muito menos dirigindo e bebendo. DUI é uma praga que assola todo o território dos EUA, e a bebida entre os adolescentes é uma ocorrência tão comum que se tornou uma piada, a facilidadde com que é possível se obter uma identificação falsa e comprar álcool.

Este livro não foi o meu favorito, mas certamente foi uma boa leitura, e eu recomendo que você compre esse livro para todos os adolescentes da sua vida.
